The man convicted of gunning down beloved Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle more than three years ago was sentenced to 60 years to life in prison in a Los Angeles courtroom Wednesday. Eric Holder was convicted of first-degree murder in July for the March 31, 2019, killing of Hussle in a parking lot outside Hussle’s South Los Angeles apparel shop. He was 33. Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge H. Clay Jacke handed down the sentence Wednesday after having heard from one of Hussle’s friends and listening to a letter from Holder’s father.

A match made outside of Hollywood. Steven Yeun is famous for his roles in The Walking Dead and Minari, but the actor met his wife, Joana Pak, before he became a household name. The Oscar nominee and the photographer first connected in 2009 while Yeun was working as a bartender in Chicago. Pak was in the city studying at Columbia College, while the Nope actor was performing with The Second City improv theater.

A State Duma deputy wants authorities to check the activities of Google for labeling Crimea as part of Ukraine and not Russia, a report said Wednesday. United Russia Deputy Anatoly Sidyakin's request to the Federal Mass Media Inspection Service also asks for Microsoft's Bing and the Russian language Wikipedia to be evaluated for labeling the Black Sea peninsula as a disputed territory, Izvestia reported. Sidyakin cited popular Russian search engine Yandex as an example, approving of the site's decision to show Russian users that Crimea is part of Russia, while showing it as part of Ukraine to Ukrainians after Russia formally annexed the region last week.

Soap star Haley Pullos has blamed another driver for a wrong-way car crash that led to her DUI arrest — and asked a judge to dismiss his civil lawsuit over serious injuries. Pullos, 25, known for playing Molly Lansing-Davis on “General Hospital,” was allegedly under the influence in April 2023 when she drove into oncoming traffic on a Pasadena freeway, flying over a barrier and slamming into the other car.
