Richard Armitage flashes his manhood in racy new Netflix show Obsession

Richard Armitage left little to the imagination as he bared all for a nude scene in Netflix series Obsession.

The actor, 51, stars as William in the show, a surgeon who begins an affair with his son's fiancée Anna (Charlie Murphy).

Richard goes full frontal in the erotic thriller which sees his character Will and Anna engage in an illicit affari behind his son Jay's back.

Will gradually becomes obsessed with Anna over the course of the show, with the pair partaking in a BDSM-fueled relationship.

In one racy scene, Anna tells Will she is in full control when they are around family or in public but he can take the lead when they are alone.

In another kinky scene, Will checks himself into the same hotel room Anna and his son Jay stayed in the night before and humps a pillow that smells of her.

The Netflix thriller is a new adaptation of the erotic novel Damage, which was made into a hit 1992 film with Jeremy Irons and Juliette Binoche, with critics calling it the 'sexist thing on TV this year.'

In an interview with Weekend Magazine, Richard admitted he has no plans to watch the series back.

He said: 'I won't be watching. I don't really like to watch most things I've done and this one was pretty intense... intense in a brilliant way. I'm left with a happy memory of what we did.'

The star also joked he didn't expect to be doing nude scenes at his age, adding: 'Yes, there's an irony in that I thought once I turned 50 I wouldn't have to take my shirt off any more.

'When I mentioned that to the producers of Obsession they said, 'We don't want just the shirt off... we want it all off!' But this story is about sexual psychology, a trap that people get caught up in. I thought it was interesting, an exploration of psychology through physical vocabulary.' 

Obsession is a four party series and is available to watch on Netflix now.
